Welcome to the Sacre-Coeur La Salle Group

The Sacre-Cœur La Salle Group consists of three educational schools: the primary school, the general and technological high school, and the campus offering post-baccalaureate trainings. Each year, we welcome nearly 1800 students.

In October 2024, we celebrate 150 years of service to young people, landmarking a long tradition of welcoming and supporting them to learn, grow, and succeed together.

Under the tutelage of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, we are part of the Lasallian network, present in 79 countries and educating 1 million students on five continents. The Lasallian project is based on the educational, pedagogical, and spiritual insights of Saint Jean Baptist de La Salle.

Our commitment is to enable each student to grow up and thrive. Their fulfillment is a promise for the future, aiming to humbly build fraternity and peace.

Our Primary School

Located in the heart of the city of Angers, our primary school welcomes children aged 3 to 11. Our students follow the official French National Education curriculum: French, mathematics, foreign language, science and technology, history-geography, artistic and physical education.

In addition to the academic program, our school offers Catholic religious education, open to all regardless of religious denomination.

Our students benefit from a musical education program (rhythm and singing), learning English, and initiation to German.

Physical and sports activities are varied: fencing, swimming, skating, cycling.

Throughout the school year, our students attend plays, educational concerts, exhibitions, and participate in various festivals in the city of Angers. They also visit emblematic heritage sites in Angers, such as the cathedral, the castle, museums, and the media library.

Our High School

Our general and technological high school, located in the heart of downtown Angers, welcomes young people aged 15 to 18 preparing for the general baccalaureate or the STMG baccalaureate (Sciences and Technologies of Marketing and Management).

During 3 years, our high school students take courses in French, philosophy, mathematics, history-geography, foreign languages (English, German, Spanish), sciences, physical and sports education. They can choose specialties and options such as visual arts, music, Chinese, mathematics in English, and physical and sports education.

In addition to their courses, our high school students have the opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities: our musical , theater workshop in French or English, video workshop, contemporary music workshop, dance, sports, Premier Plan Cinema festival, BIA certificate: aeronautical initiation certificate, and photography workshop.

Through exchanges with foreign high schools, stays abroad, and partnerships with organizations that allow French high school students to spend a year studying abroad, our students discover new cultures, improve their language skills, and build connections with young people from around the world.

Each year, we welcome international high school students for a school year or a few months. These foreign students join a junior or senior class and can, if they wish, participate in the various extracurricular activities offered by the high school.

Our Campus

Our higher education campus offers a diverse range of post-baccalaureate training, from BTS (Advanced Technician Certificate) in 2 years to a 5 year level (equivalent to a Master’s), in various fields. Located on one of the university campuses in the city of Angers, it provides a thriving environment to learning and personal development.

Our programs meet the needs of the job market in the fields of commerce, management, human resources, logistics and transportation, international business, management, and marketing.

Our students can choose to follow their studies alternately or initially for their first two years on campus.

The “alternation” allows students to combine theoretical learning and professional experience in a company. This approach offers students an immersion in the working world while continuing their studies.

For those who prefer to focus on their studies before embarking on their professional career, we also offer full-time 2 Year Technical Degree programs, where the student completes 12 to 14 weeks of internships in a company over these two years of study.

The year is punctuated by various educational, cultural, sports, and festive activities. The Student Office (BDE) plays a key role in organizing these events, thus energizing student life.

Our students in International Commerce (CI) and Office Management Support (SAM) BTS programs have the opportunity to do an internship abroad, benefiting from international mobility grants such as ERASMUS+ and ENVOLéO.

Over the years, the campus has established partnerships with more than 600 companies all over the world. This network allows our students to complete internships, sign work-study contracts, and meet professionals during conferences.
